Clifton M. Jackness, M.D. is a graduate of Yale University and earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, as well as a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Bone Disease, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Jackness is licensed near Long Island and is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He has been recognized with awards in clinical skills, compassionate care, research and teaching.

As an active researcher, Dr. Jackness has been engaged in studies on Type 2 diabetes and obesity, as well as the hormonal changes occurring after bariatric surgery and weight loss. He is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the New York Thyroid Club, the Metropolitan New York Bone Club, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the New York County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
