Gillian has made several media appearances talking about both endocrinology and about her journey starting a family during medical training.  Her interviews can be found at Oprah Daily, NBC News and Readers Digest, and on podcasts including ParentData, Girls Night with Stephanie May Wilson, The Mom Hour, Simple Families, and Best of Both Worlds. 

Gillian attended the Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication at Arizona State University, Columbia University, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.  She completed her post-doctoral training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.  She is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Gillian was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she studied ballet, theater and vocal performance.  While no longer dancing and singing, she values arts education and has served on the Board of Directors of Notes in Motion/Amanda Selwyn Dance.  She lives in Westchester, New York with her husband and their four children.
