Shira Eytan, MD, FACE, completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University with honors. She earned her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University-American Program. Her internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Eytan has shared her expertise at numerous regional and national conferences, including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society. She was recently honored with an Outstanding Abstract award by the Endocrine Society.
