Shira Eytan, MD, FACE, graduated with honors from Rutgers University. She obtained her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University-American Program. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and then pursued a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Eytan has presented her expertise at numerous regional and national conferences, including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society. Recently, she was recognized with an Outstanding Abstract award by the Endocrine Society.

Dr. Eytan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. Her expertise includes all areas of general endocrinology. During her training, she focused extensively on thyroid disorders and malignancies, with experience in ultrasound and FNA procedures, and pituitary disorders such as prolactinoma, Acromegaly, Cushing’s Disease, and hypopituitarism. She is also skilled in parathyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, bone disorders, Diabetes Mellitus, PCOS, and obesity.
